 El Nino Jac is a stunning well bred 11 year old, 14.3hh, Red Dun, AQHA mare. She was sired by Hes A Bueno Jac (Quarterbec Futurity Reserve Championship, Money earner at the Congress Straight Arrow Open Futurity Final).x Hollywood Jac 86 out of Roxanna Bonanza (21 Open Performance Points and a ROM) x Kintail Scorp. Nina has been confirmed in foal for a May 2010 foal, sired by Strait Catalack, Double Homozygous son of Strait Catalack. The foal will be registered APHA, and will be a bay, black, or Dun Tobiano or Tovero, with an amazing pedigree. Nina has an excellent temperament and conformation, she is well behaved, has strong feet and clean legs. She was restarted by former owners, and was found to be very well behaved. She is an extremely easy keeper, who needs no grain at all. She is the type of mare that breathes in air and puts on weight. She is UTD with all of her vaccinations, worming and farrier care. Nina was initially trained for reining, and was taken on trails, however her last 2 owners have used her for breeding, so we would estimate it has been about 5 years since she has been ridden on a regular basis. Her last owners did saddle her and ride her lightly a few times, but sold her as they were changing disciplines, and her riding was not continued. She would likely do well with an Intermediate to advanced rider to restart her under saddle. Nina has nice gaits and would do well be started under saddle and ridden. She would likely do well in cow events, reining, halter, or as a trail horse. She does not need shoes, has no health issues, foals easily, is an excellent mother and allows you to handle her foals. All of her former offspring are being trained for or competing in reining. Nina has a spectacular pedigree with both parents being show point earners, her grandsire is Hollywood Jac 86, also on her papers she has Easter King, Miss Hollywood, Senor Jessie Day, Dudes Girl, Bonanzas Scorpion, Ho Down Sun. One generation off her papers she has King, Hollywood Gold, Jessie Bueno, Small Town Dude and Coys Bonanza.
